William
Nokrek is an indigenous person from Garo community of Kaowakuri village,
Nalitabari Thana, Sherpur District. Last Year, he was elected as the Asia
Pacific Coordinator of International Movement of Catholic Students -Pax Romana
for the term of 2019-2022 in Manila, Philippine.

He was the first Indigenous National President of Bangladesh
Catholic Students’ Movement (BCSM). He was also President of
Bangladesh Indigenous Students Action Forum (BISAF). He was working as a Unit and Diocesan Representative in Mymensingh BCSM. As
a board member of few Student, Church and Civil society movements, He was able
to build a constructive relationship with leaders of various backgrounds. He is
an Enthusiastic, Self-motivated, Responsible and Dedicated person along with
Good Communication, Networking & Leadership skill. Because of his personal
struggle as an indigenous person throughout his life, he has a life goal of
working for the empowerment of marginalized communities. He was graduate in
Journalism, Communication and media studies.
Nishan Rema is an indigenous
person from Garo community of Sapmarikanda village, Haluaghat Thana, Mymensingh
District. Last February, he was elected as Publication Secretary of
Bangladesh Catholic Students Movement (BCSM) for the term of 2019-2021.
He was the Diocesan President of
Mymensingh BCSM. He was also working as a Unit and diocesan representative in Mymensingh BCSM. He has been completed his under-graduation in Economics from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul
Islam University. He is a dedicated, responsible and well organized.

your position. It was your sincere dedication and perseverance that has helped
you get through the difficult leadership with flying colors.
